About The Position

We are the OCI Organizations-Management team. We own and operate a customer-facing service in the OCI console. Our service enables OCI customers to administer their hierarchies of tenancies, manage subscriptions across these tenancies, and securely configure these tenancies. We're looking for a Principal Software Development Engineer to help us build new features for our customers, operate our service and improve our engineering process. As a member of the OCI Organizations-Management team, you will work our product team and other engineering teams to define new features for our customers. You'll design those features and then write code to build + operate them. You will help operate our service, troubleshoot problems and generally support our customers. You'll provide technical and project leadership to other software engineers on our team. This team is targeting candidates in the U.S. who can work onsite in Nashville-TN (priority location) or Austin-TX (secondary). Relocation Assistance provided. (This is not a remote position). Requirements

  • 6-10+ years of software engineering or related experience
  • Experience building + operating cloud services
  • Strong development experience with object oriented programming, such as Java and infrastructure as a code languages, such as Terraform
  • Demonstrate strong ownership, solid communication skills and a bias for action
  • Experienced in leading projects and leading other engineers to deliver high quality software solutions
