About The Position

The Principal Software Project Manager in AT&T Technology Services is a senior-level leader responsible for driving complex, cross-functional initiatives that support digital transformation, customer experience improvements, and enterprise-wide technology programs. This role typically reports to a Director or AVP and collaborates with stakeholders across product, engineering, operations, and finance. The role seeks a seasoned, technical program/project manager responsible for delivering Digital Converged Experience. Responsibilities include technology roadmap, resource and budget management, vendor/app owner management, technical program direction/guidance, risk/jeopardy management and mitigation, dependency management, stakeholder communication/collaboration and reporting. The role is designed for a seasoned technical program/project manager with a proven track record of delivering strategic, large-scale, technology development and delivery programs. Requires leadership across cross-functional programs in a matrixed organization, spanning multiple geographic boundaries. Strong focus on technology solutions, program execution, leadership, collaboration and problem solving.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in program management within technology domains.
  • Exposure to diverse industries such as streaming, fintech, education, logistics, medical devices, and HRMS.
  • Expertise in new product development and post-market support in regulated environments.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage complex network and software-related projects and programs from initiation to delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across product, engineering, operations, and business units.
  • Drive program governance, risk management, and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Ensure alignment with strategic objectives and timely delivery of milestones.
