About The Position

The Principal Software Project Manager in AT&T Technology Services is a senior-level leader responsible for driving complex, cross-functional initiatives that support digital transformation, customer experience improvements, and enterprise-wide technology programs. This role typically reports to a Director or AVP and collaborates with stakeholders across product, engineering, operations, and finance. The role seeks a seasoned, technical program/project manager responsible for delivering Digital Converged Experience. Responsibilities include technology roadmap, resource and budget management, vendor/app owner management, technical program direction/guidance, risk/jeopardy management and mitigation, dependency management, stakeholder communication/collaboration and reporting. The role is designed for a seasoned technical program/project manager with a proven track record of delivering strategic, large-scale, technology development and delivery programs. Requires leadership across cross-functional programs in a matrixed organization, spanning multiple geographic boundaries. Strong focus on technology solutions, program execution, leadership, collaboration and problem solving.

Requirements

7+ years in program management within technology domains.
Exposure to diverse industries such as streaming, fintech, education, logistics, medical devices, and HRMS.
Expertise in new product development and post-market support in regulated environments.
Strong communication and leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage complex network and software-related projects and programs from initiation to delivery.
Collaborate with stakeholders across product, engineering, operations, and business units.
Drive program governance, risk management, and compliance with organizational standards.
Ensure alignment with strategic objectives and timely delivery of milestones.
