Your responsibilities will draw on a mix of the qualifications listed below: Education: Although a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is desirable, we value relevant experience to encourage a wide range of applicants. Experience: Demonstrated expertise in site reliability with a strong background in managing large-scale systems is essential. Experience in automation, monitoring, and incident management will set you apart. Certifications: While not mandatory, certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Google Professional DevOps Engineer are a plus. Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office. This does not apply to Remote or fully Onsite roles. Requirements

  • Understand cloud infrastructure
  • Excel in Python scripting
  • Drive projects end-to-end
  • Extensive knowledge on Production on-call support for Cloud Infrastructure which is running in EKS platform
  • Experience with load balancer traffic distribution (especially Akamai and VMware Avi)
  • Extensive experiences in Change, Incident, Problem Management & on-call support
  • Extensive knowledge on observability tools (Preferable - DataDog) & Grafana
  • Experience in monitoring various aspects like Log, Metrics, APM, Event, Infrastructure & including of Dashboard creation
  • Experience in multiple AWS services like EC2, EBS, S3, NLB, IAM, Lambda, Cloud-Watch, Cloud Trail & VPC
  • Rehydration or Patching knowledge's in cloud infrastructure
  • Experience in Microservices Architecture like API Gateway or APIGEE
  • Ability to triage, execute root cause analysis and be decisive under pressure
  • Capable to work with a variety of individuals and groups, both in-person and virtually, in a constructive and collaborative manner to build and maintain effective relationships
  • Able to do automation using Python
  • Exposure to CFM/IaaC like Ansible & Terraform
  • Know on CI/CD tool like Jenkins
  • Exposure to database administration (especially Yugabyte)
  • Exposure to document creation for knowledge & process will be an added advantage
  • Demonstrated expertise in site reliability with a strong background in managing large-scale systems is essential
  • Experience in automation, monitoring, and incident management will set you apart

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Production on-call support for Cloud Infrastructure
  • Experience with AWS services
  • Proficiency in observability tools like DataDog and Grafana
  • Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Google Professional DevOps Engineer are a plus
