There are still lots of open positions. Let's find the one that's right for you.
As a Principal SIOP Planner at II-VI Incorporated, you will play a pivotal role in establishing a consistent, firm-wide culture of process excellence aimed at eliminating revenue and margin losses due to a fragmented planning process. Your primary responsibility will be to design and implement best-in-class SIOP (Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning) processes that standardize planning across the enterprise, thereby enabling integrated end-to-end supply chain visibility. You will develop comprehensive policies, procedures, playbooks, and standardized tools and templates that will be utilized by Integrated Demand Supply Chain (IDSC) and Business Planning (BP) teams at both central and segment levels, ensuring a harmonized SIOP process. In this role, you will also be responsible for creating process audit templates and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), defining the audit cadence, eligibility criteria, and the responsibilities of auditors and stakeholders involved in compliance monitoring. Your efforts will include consolidating feedback to drive continuous improvement initiatives, as well as lean and sustainability initiatives for planning processes and procedures. You will establish a process for a cross-functional segment planning council, develop necessary assets for the council, and define the structure to resolve cross-business unit (BU), segment, and cross-functional dependencies. Governance of the adoption of the IDSC & BP operating model and its underlying processes, policies, and best practices across segments and their BUs will be a key aspect of your role. You will perform process audits to monitor compliance with defined planning processes and harmonize existing pockets of process excellence across BUs to ensure the sharing of best practices and the establishment of consistent planning practices throughout the organization. Communication with Segment, BU, and Site leadership will be essential to drive the adoption of defined processes, and you will interact with BU/Site planning leads to understand existing systems and processes, gathering feedback to prioritize continuous improvement initiatives. As a Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will support site planning leads in executing the process and leverage insights from these interactions to drive ongoing process improvements.
