About The Position

As a Services Solution Architect within the Security Solutions group, you will be responsible for providing leadership to comprehensively and expeditiously solution cyber security opportunities including complex and strategic programs. You will lead pursuit teams to identify, shape, and close new business opportunities by leveraging competitive intelligence, identifying and documenting business requirements, developing cost and pricing estimates, and solutioning across business and technology services and industries. The types of solutions you will support will range from cyber security strategy to technical implementations.  Your primary focus will be on cyber security solutions with expectation of supporting the pursuit of complex opportunities inclusive of any facet of World Wide Technologies capabilities. In partnership with WWT Account and Sales leaders, you will lead pursuit teams in developing competitive and compelling business cases and solution proposals for our clients, designing and executing competitive pricing strategy while mitigating risks,  articulating the value of the Security offerings alone and within the broader WWT context, and ultimately leading the development and delivery of high-quality statements of work to the client. This role will contribute to evolving and growing WWT's Security Solutions including improvement of WWT's market competitiveness, establishing strategic relationships to grow and expand the business, and driving business development and E2E solutions.

Requirements

  • Minimum eight years of experience at a major management consulting firm, or in a complex service role within a major technology firm, or a consultative sales role for a complex solution/product company.
  • Demonstrated thought leader-level knowledge with and/or a proven record of success directing efforts in engineering and enterprise security technology and processes, including the following areas:
  • Understanding of cyber security, security architecture and related functions, and of cyber security in general, that is applied to integrate and drive the execution of strategic priorities;
  • Establishing and supporting growth of cyber security thought leadership;
  • Establishing and leading cyber security business strategy and planning;
  • Influencing others through leadership interactions with external clients, across functions, and with Internal firm services leadership; and,
  • Establishing the strategic direction and leading teams to execute against the strategy.
  • Proven track record in creating and closing opportunities in areas focused across Strategy, Technology, Security, AI, and Enterprise Architecture across multiple functions and industries
  • Expert proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and associated metrics
  • Proven track record designing, modeling, and structuring deals utilizing various commercial models across consulting and managed services
  • High proficiency at collaborating, managing conflicting interests, and dealing with ambiguity
  • Proven ability to successfully support multiple projects and project teams simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills: able to create compelling presentations to support concepts and solutions, write effective emails, and persuasively discuss strategy with senior executives
  • Strong leadership qualities: able to have "presence" in senior exec client settings; capable of gaining the trust of customers; able to lead WWT team within the account
  • Intellectually curious: a desire to understand constantly evolving technology solutions and how they connect to business and IT outcomes
  • Assertive, collaborative, and self-starter with emotional intelligence as well as the capacity to learn and synthesize new information to provide customers and the WWT account team with valuable insights

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate and Consult – Accountable to lead solutions pursuits for WWT's Cyber Security and complex services engagements
  • Maximize Account Engagement – Partner with WWT account teams and sales organizations to qualify and close opportunities.
  • Shape Solutions across multiple Consulting areas and Industries - create and iterate on solutions that leverage the best of WWT and meet our client's business objectives.
  • Build Program Models – Develop cost estimates and financial models
  • Create Compelling Proposals - Highlighting Executive Summaries and overall solutions to deliver value to our clients.
  • Deliver High-Quality Contracts - Draft and deliver high-quality statements of work that clearly articulate the definition and delivery of the project while minimizing delivery and contractual risk to WWT.
