Support Systems Engineer.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university with at least 5 years of experience; 3 years with Master's Degree; OR 1 year with a PhD.
  • Progressive experience with the Change Control Board process and supporting Engineering Change Boards and Change Control Boards (CCB’s).
  • Experience with MBSE and Requirements management tools, such as Cameo and DOORS.
  • Expertise with Project & Task Management tools: Jira or Confluence.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally inside the organization.
  • Experience managing design drawings, engineering changes and design/configuration audits.
  • Ability to read and understand drawings of piece parts and structure assemblies.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong executive briefing skills.
  • Current Active DoD Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI and a Polygraph prior to start.

Nice To Haves

  • Current active DoD TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
  • Experience in Teamcenter, CPLM PLM tool, Enovia, Windchill, and/or Costpoint or similar tools.
  • Domain knowledge of Configuration Mgmt. standards such as MIL-HDBK-61A &/or EIA-649B &/or EIA-649-1.
  • Experience with AS9100 or ISO9001 requirements, standards, and compliance issues.
  • Awareness of specialty engineering, modeling and testing tools, such as: MATLAB, Python, Cypress, Cadence Assura or Siemens Calebre.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Program/System CM organization, primarily supporting System CM.
  • Engage with CM teams within the multiple IPTs/Segments that make up the Program.
  • Provide CM services and support various Review Boards.
  • Execute CM processes; support internal audits; and enable configuration control of all CIs.
