About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, AI/ML, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of experience in security engineering, security architecture, or software engineering, including 5+ years in application security roles.
• Proven experience applying AI and machine learning techniques to cybersecurity challenges such as threat detection, anomaly detection, and predictive risk modeling.
• Strong expertise in application security tools and CI/CD security integration, secure coding practices, and API protection.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native technologies, microservices architectures, containers, Kubernetes, serverless platforms, and corresponding security controls.
• Proficiency in Python or similar languages for automation, scripting, and data processing.
• Deep understanding of generative AI platforms, LLMs, and their security implications.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical risks into actionable guidance for technical and non-technical audiences.

• Preferred qualifications include advanced degrees and certifications such as CISSP, CSSLP, CCSP, or GIAC certifications related to cloud, application, and AI security.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI-powered security architectures that enable intelligent detection, prevention, and automated response across applications, cloud environments, and infrastructure.
• Lead the development of predictive risk models, behavior analytics, and autonomous security workflows using SOAR platforms, LLM agents, and advanced automation.
• Serve as a principal advisor on application, AI, and cloud security, providing independent risk assessments, threat modeling, and security architecture guidance.
• Act as the escalation point for high-impact security risks, delivering expert judgment, risk-based recommendations, and strategic remediation plans.
• Partner with engineering, product, platform, legal, privacy, and compliance teams to embed security best practices and AI governance into enterprise workflows.
• Define cloud security reference architectures, evaluate security tooling, and strengthen preventive controls across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
• Mentor stakeholders across the organization on secure development practices, AI safety principles, and modern security methodologies.
• Establish security metrics, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms to measure effectiveness, maturity, and risk reduction.
