the spotlight, able to coordinate cross-org meetings, field difficult questions,
and create positive collaborative outcomes. You are adept at directing
engineering and operations, evaluating research and writing documents for an
executive audience. You ensure solutions are reliable, scalable and secure.

Requirements

• 10+ years of engineering experience
• 5+ years of engineering team management experience
• 10+ years of planning, designing, developing and delivering consumer software experience
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams
• Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects and development teams in an Agile environment

Responsibilities

• Own vision, strategy planning, prioritization, driving architectural decisions, and end-to-end project delivery.
• Identify, assess and mitigate risks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs balancing the business needs versus constraints.
• Create, maintain and disseminate project information to stakeholders.
• Manage careers of talented engineers and managers, including making great hiring decisions, setting goals, providing feedback and managing performance.
• Develop best practices to build and operate critical platform services.
• Your teams will have highly challenging problems of scale and complexity, that requires a high power team of principal engineers and tech leads.
