About The Position

Join the ASPVP Scientific team as a scientist focused on small molecule applications and product development. You'll drive high-impact to our business by developing automated sample prep solutions across pharma, food, and environmental sectors. This role blends hands-on experimentation, customer collaboration, and cross-functional teamwork. Success requires attention to detail, creativity, agility, and strong communication skills. You'll support campaigns through application work, webinars, and training—spanning both new and legacy technologies. This is a high-visibility role with strong potential for scientific and professional growth.

Requirements

  • PhD degree in chemistry, biochemistry or related disciplines and a minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience in leading projects.
  • SME and hands-on experience with sample preparation techniques with as strong background in bioanalytical workflows
  • Firsthand experience in liquid chromatography with optical and MS detection.
  • Proficiency with lab instrumentation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Motivated self-starter who works independently following high level guidance and the a bility to set priorities to accomplish multiple tasks within deadlines .
  • Willingness to learn different techniques, positive attitude and innate collaborative spirit.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic knowledge of applications in Food & Environmental testing is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of sample preparation products specifically incorporated into a full automation workflow
  • Apply your deep and broad bioanalytical knowledge to design experiments that push the boundaries of reproducibility.
  • Make key observations for fundamental insights to help steer prioritization of impactful product development and timelines.
  • Collaborate with engineers, analytical chemists, application scientists and production colleagues to drive product development timelines.
  • Stay up-to-date literature in your research area and pursue intellectual property opportunities.
  • Precisely document research findings and maintain laboratory equipment.
  • Comply with environment, safety, health, and quality program requirements.
  • Own the operation of our dedicated laboratory
