About The Position
Tempus is seeking a highly experienced and innovative Principal Scientist to join our team. The Principal Scientist will spearhead early-stage assay and device technology feasibility initiatives and drive early development to enable assets more efficiently in Tempus's product portfolio and research offerings. This role will focus on front-end technical evaluations and development, emphasizing the exploration and assessment of emerging molecular chemistries and applications as well as a broad range of instrumentation and detection platforms. Additionally, this role will interface with bioinformatics and data teams to build workflows that aid in the development of AI applications and enable discoveries from complex data sets, including medical data, genomic data, metadata, population data, and multiomic data.
