The Opportunity The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and synthesizing analogs for molecular targets by applying innovative structure- and computation-driven and property-based design principles in a multi-disciplinary, team-based culture. In addition to close collaboration with other chemists, the candidate will engage with various functions such as Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics, Structural Biology, Biochemical and Cellular Pharmacology, Machine Learning, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Safety and disease area Biology. Requirements

  • A PhD with 0-6 years of post-PhD experience, or equivalent and relevant experience in chemical research.
  • Expertise in modern synthetic organic chemistry is required as demonstrated by a track record of at least one first authored publication(s).
  • Ability to conduct multi-step syntheses and retrosynthetic analysis of complex molecules.

Nice To Haves

  • demonstrate extensive experience and record of accomplishment in one or more of the following areas: medicinal chemistry, methodology/catalysis, total synthesis, chemical biology and physical organic chemistry.
  • convey strong verbal and written communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively in teams.
  • Candidates with significant industry experience should be prepared to fully disclose details of accomplishments.
