Purpose: Do you want to use your hard‑earned skills and drive to make a difference in the lives of patients? Join the growing Discovery Proteomic Platforms (DPP) group within the Discovery Technologies and Molecular Pharmacology (DTMP) department of Therapeutics Discovery to apply groundbreaking approaches to high‑scale proteomic analysis! Be part of a motivated team deploying innovative mass spectrometry technologies to tackle challenges in end‑to‑end drug discovery and development across a leading multiomics organization. We work shoulder‑to‑shoulder across biology, chemistry, and data science to deliver clear, reproducible proteomic readouts that move medicines forward. With your help, we will drive development of medicines for our patients! Lead the development and delivery of immunogenicity assays supporting discovery programs across the Innovative Medicine portfolio. You will focus on hands‑on assay development, high‑throughput screening, and data generation, while working closely with diverse teams of protein engineers, data scientists, and biologists.

Requirements

  • PhD in Immunology, Cellular/Molecular Biology, Bioengineering or a related field is required.
  • 6+ years of proven biotech or pharmaceutical experience is required.
  • Demonstrated expertise in immunology with hands-on experience developing, implementing, and interpreting complex immune cell-based assays is required.
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills with the ability to translate multi-dimensional datasets into a decision-relevant narrative is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience developing high-throughput assay workflows from pilot to scalable routine deployment is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with integrated lab automation systems is preferred.
  • Familiarity with therapeutic engineering concepts is desirable.
  • Experience working with in silico tools and integrating computational outputs with experimental data is preferred.
  • Hands on experience with LC-MS instrumentation in support of immunopeptidomics workflows is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Leading must-win immunogenicity projects across biologics, CAR-T, and peptide therapeutics from Lead Generation through New Molecular Entity (NME).
  • Owning the design, implementation, and execution of novel high throughput assays; continuously improving. methods and workflows to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Translating assay results into clear, decision-enabling interpretations for program and engineering teams.
  • Ensuring strong data integrity, documentation, and reproducibility.
  • Driving rapid innovation and providing technical leadership, while building strong multi-functional relationships as a scientific partner.
  • Developing and operationalizing population-aware immunogenicity risk assessment strategies, ensuring consistent application across programs and integration within discovery and engineering cycles.
