About The Position

As the Principal, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our team and clients through the complexities of SAP IBP and OBP solutions. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing and executing strategies, ensuring seamless integration, and providing innovative solutions to enhance our clients' supply chain management capabilities.

Requirements

Functional Depth : Expert knowledge of SAP IBP Response & Supply (R&S) and OBP modules.
Algorithm Proficiency : Hands-on experience with OBP Finite Heuristics , OBP Optimizer , and Supply Planning Heuristics (unconstrained/constrained).
System Integration : Proven experience with RTI (Real-Time Integration) and CI-DS (Cloud Integration for Data Services) .
Cross-Functional Awareness : Strong understanding of integration with SAP PP (Production Planning), SD (Sales & Distribution), and MM (Materials Management).
Methodology : Proficiency in SAP Activate or Agile delivery frameworks.
Education : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, IT, or Industrial Engineering.
Certifications : SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP IBP for Supply Chain (Response and Supply focus) is highly preferred

Responsibilities

OBP Solution Design & Delivery Lead the design and implementation of Order-Based Planning (OBP) processes, including supply planning and constraint-based planning.
Configure and optimize Response Management processes to handle short-term changes, including sales order reconfirmation based on priority and availability.
Implement Supply Assignment (Run) and Deployment processes using both heuristic and optimizer algorithms.
Manage multi-level pegging and prioritisation logic to ensure critical customer orders are met under supply constraints.
Technical Configuration (Order-Series) Configure Order-Series specific objects: planning areas (including SAP7F flexible planning areas), attributes, and planning levels.
Set up and manage Planning Operators such as the OBP Optimizer and Finite Heuristics to resolve supply-demand imbalances.
Develop and maintain complex Excel UI templates and Fiori-based analytics for operational planners.
Integration & Data Management Orchestrate data integration between SAP IBP and S/4HANA/ECC using Real-Time Integration (RTI) or SDI/CI-DS .
Ensure accurate master data synchronization for products, locations, BOMs, PDS, and resources.
Troubleshoot integration errors and validate data consistency across enterprise landscapes.
Consulting & Stakeholder Engagement Lead Fit-to-Standard workshops and requirement gathering sessions to translate business pain points into scalable IBP solutions.
Manage the full project lifecycle, including SIT, UAT, cutover planning, and post-go-live hypercare.
Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), mentoring junior team members and contributing to organizational IBP assets and accelerators
