Summary The Principal Sales Solutions leader drives large, complex business solutions and go-to-market strategies for strategic customers. This role blends industry expertise, technical acumen, and executive-level relationship building to architect and deliver high-impact solutions that meet client needs while positioning the company to compete and win. You will operate as both a strategist and trusted advisor, translating business challenges into differentiated, technology-enabled solutions.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in business solutions, technical consulting, or sales solution development.
  • Proven success developing and delivering winning sales solutions and proposals for large, complex accounts.
  • Experience within the technology industry, managing significantly sized enterprise accounts.
  • Strong understanding of technology portfolios, products, services, and competitive landscapes.
  • Exceptional executive presence with the ability to influence and negotiate at senior leadership and Board levels.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value.
  • Ability to analyze stakeholders, recognize prospect traits, and influence decision-making effectively.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; business, computer science, or information technology preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an industry expert and architect large, complex business and technical solutions for targeted enterprise clients.
  • Develop holistic solution strategies that balance business objectives, technical realities, cost structures, and contractual considerations.
  • Research and deeply understand client business challenges to design compelling, tailored strategies that generate revenue growth.
  • Build and cultivate trusted-advisor relationships with senior IT and executive leaders, including C-suite stakeholders.
  • Lead pursuit teams through the solution development lifecycle, ensuring alignment with overall sales strategy and company win themes.
  • Deliver and present solution vision and technical strategy to executive audiences, articulating clear business value and differentiation.
  • Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and alliance opportunities to continuously enhance solution offerings.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to internal teams on new offerings, enhancements, and competitive positioning.
  • Mentor and support less experienced Sales Solutions team members.
