About The Position

As a Principal Research Scientist, you will lead high-impact research initiatives that shape the integrity, quality, and governance of open knowledge systems. You will collaborate with senior leadership and global stakeholders to design and execute studies that inform strategy and operational decisions. Requirements

• PhD and at least five years of experience in research, science, or related fields.
• Proven track record of scholarly publications and service within relevant scientific communities.
• 3+ years of strategic technical leadership in large or matrixed organizations or equivalent academic experience.
• Advanced expertise in AI, NLP, ML frameworks, or mixed-method research applied to online communities or human-system interaction.
• Ability to manage complex portfolios while mentoring contributors and balancing high-level strategy with technical details.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, capable of translating nuanced scientific findings for non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable working remotely across time zones and traveling periodically for stakeholder engagement.
