Summary: Senior-level software developer responsible for driving innovation, defining technical strategy, and delivering breakthrough solutions in complex product and platform development. Serving as a high-level individual contributor, this role influences design decisions, leads research initiatives, and may oversee or mentor a small team of engineers, either directly or indirectly. Partners with cross-functional stakeholders to bring forward-thinking ideas from concept through implementation, ensuring scalability, quality, and business impact.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in advanced research, product development, or system architecture roles
  • Demonstrated success in leading high-impact projects or initiatives in a fast-paced, innovative environment
  • Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and influencing technical direction at an organizational level
  • Prior exposure to large-scale systems, cloud-native platforms, and enterprise-grade software development

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, prototyping, and development of software that addresses complex business or product challenges.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams, setting best practices and ensuring high standards for design and execution
  • Collaborate with product management, architecture, and research teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Drive long-term technical strategy, innovation pipelines, and R&D roadmaps aligned with organizational objectives
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers and researchers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning
  • Oversee small project teams or workstreams as needed, ensuring on-time delivery and integration of advanced solutions
