About The Position

We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) part of the US Army's Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bell's High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next generation stop-fold tilt-rotor. This position is onsite in Fort Worth. The successful candidate will be responsible for Quality Assurance (QA) activities and initiatives and will provide leadership necessary to ensure compliance and customer satisfaction for the delivery of multiple model aircraft. Must be able to represent the Quality department in Integrated Product teams. Able to oversee the coordination of Quality program responsibilities with internal and external customers, customer responses, investigation and resolution of program related problems that affect customers' aircraft/components or kits. The position reports to the Senior Manager Civil Certification and interfaces directly with the Fort Worth Logistics Center Accountable Manager. This position is onsite in Fort Worth, TX.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Technology, or related field.
  • 10 years' experience as a Quality Professional in the aerospace and/or automotive industry.
  • Experience with FAA 14 CFR Part 21 and 145 regulations, preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills are necessary for interfacing with customers and delivering presentations.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or other Continuous Improvement certification within quality.

Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships and collaborate across multiple functions to foster teamwork at a facility level.
  • Develop quality inspection plans for all new commercial programs to ensure compliance with quality management system.
  • Manage customer related root cause and corrective action (RCCA) activities to ensure timely and effective resolutions.
  • Develop training to support global distribution center and MRO locations.
  • Ensure Compliance with AS9100 standards and applicable FAA regulations.
  • Maintain metric reporting for organizational strategy and objectives.
