We are seeking a Principal Quality Engineer to join the Rebates Modernization team within OptumRx. This role is critical to our transformation journey, helping modernize and own our Service level objectives, reliability and scalability of our infrastructure and applications. The engineer will play a key role in ensuring the stability and integrity of our new Data and compute platforms on Hyperscale and Data Bricks in Azure. and be responsible for ensuring the application functionality is fully tested, verified and validated. We are looking for Proactive and self-motivated individuals with the ability to quickly learn the RxMax application, apply solid analytical skills to explore complex datasets, and gain a deep understanding of system functionality. This candidate will be a testing expert in Test Automation consulting and responsible for working with the business teams and developers/engineers for requirement gathering, solutioning and ensuring that functionality is verified and validated. They will be involved in Test Automation Consulting assignments for the application while being able to support test tools, DevOps, CI/CD consulting. Ideal Candidate should have: Demonstrated and applied understanding of modern development methodologies and tools to develop, deploy and maintain impactful, high-value market solutions Competency in the programming languages most relevant and appropriate to role and problem space Understands underlying solution architecture of solution and aligns or adapts it to optimize for business needs Possess breadth of knowledge spanning all bodies of technologies, e.g., databases, middleware, OS, etc. Understand business objectives and how technology can optimize and enable solutions Focus on business value proposition & comply with enterprise security protocols Understands and incorporates quality principles to ensure optimal performance, impact and experience You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.
