About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Principal Quality Control Scientist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead key initiatives in assay development, characterization, optimization, transfer, validation, and investigations, making a significant impact on our commercial Quality Control laboratory operations. You will be an integral part of a fast-paced, collaborative environment, focusing on the highest standards of quality and compliance. A typical day might include: Designing and executing experimental plans to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. Reviewing and authoring detailed technical reports, performing advanced data analysis, and presenting findings. Evaluating method qualifications and validations for their suitability in routine operations and contributing to health authority submissions. Monitoring routine testing performance, identifying trends, and recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability. Performing and reviewing routine testing as needed to support Quality Control lab operations. This role may be for you if: You have extensive hands-on experience with Gel Electrophoresis, PCR, and ELISA techniques. You excel in critical thinking and problem-solving, with a proven track record of resolving technical challenges. You have experience in assay development, validation, and troubleshooting within a Quality Control laboratory setting. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities while maintaining attention to detail.

Requirements

  • BS in Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field with 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Gel Electrophoresis, PCR, and ELISA techniques.
  • Excel in critical thinking and problem-solving, with a proven track record of resolving technical challenges.
  • Experience in assay development, validation, and troubleshooting within a Quality Control laboratory setting.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities while maintaining attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • A PhD is strongly preferred.
