As a member of the Capital One Airport Lounge organization, you will be a part of a dynamic team that is setting a new bar for premium experiences in the market. The Airport Lounge Business Development team, within this organization, is focused on delivering and maturing the Capital One Lounge network in the U.S. As a Principal Associate, you will support the evolution of our lounge program by project managing key initiatives with strategic partnerships, and the delivery of our new site locations. As a successful candidate, you will be an excellent executive communicator, have strong judgement and experience working across teams to drive results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience
  • At least 3 years Project Management experience working with cross-functional teams
  • At least 2 years experience in executive level communications
  • At least 1 years experience with contracting, procurement or legal project management

Nice To Haves

  • 4+ years of Project Management experience
  • PMP, Lean, or Six Sigma certification

Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end project management for Capital One Lounge and Capital One Landing site delivery
  • Manage delivery of key strategic partnership evolutions, including contracting and operational adjustments
  • Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to deliver on large-scale, long-term projects
  • Manage relationships with third party operations partners to ensure desired intent is executed
  • Drive projects based on defined priorities; ensure scope of deliverables, timelines and budget are met; identify risks and issues and mitigate and / or escalate as needed
  • Leverage problem solving skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent and maintain key project documentation
  • Partner with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery
  • Forge relationships with key internal stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments
  • Identify ways to improve and streamline business process
  • Demonstrate organizational agility to adapt to changing demands
  • Exhibit a proven track record of project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage the work
  • Demonstrate outstanding communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders across all levels to manage, inform, and influence outcomes
  • Must be willing to travel 25% regularly and up to 75% of time based on seasonality based on new Capital One Lounge and Capital One Landing opening schedules
