About The Position

The Engineering Operations organization within the Integrated Mission Systems (IMS) Segment is seeking an experienced Principal, Project Manager who will lead the Engineering Talent Programs Pipeline, Engineering & Technology Awards planning, and lead continueing education initiatives for the Engineering population within IMS. The ideal candidate must have the ability to influence, foster collaboration, teamwork, and interface across disciplines and functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field of study and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant work experience or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate key engineering talent pipeline programs ensuring alignment with strategic goals including:
  • Management of the nomination and selection process
  • Coordination of rotational assignments
  • Drive engagement initiatives including communications, mentor pairing, participant knowledge sharing and collaboration, and learning opportunities for participants
  • Create presentations and brief leadership on talent pipeline
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
  • Lead the planning and execution of the Engineering & Technology Awards and Engineers Week
  • Lead educational and informational sessions to promote knowledge sharing and professional development among engineering team and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with recruiting on university career fairs, ensuring alignment with organizational needs and objectives.
  • Support command media harmonization transformation initiative, including editing documentation for clarity and consistency.
  • Travels up to 25% domestic and international.
