Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Information Technology or related field of study.
• Minimum of 12 years of prior relevant work experience in Planning/Scheduling and control OR Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
• Knowledge of MRP and proficiency in scheduling principles and practices.
• Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) practices, Project Planning/Coordination and Production Scheduling.
• Ability to obtain Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Prior Experience in engineering and operations/manufacturing environment.
• Military contractor / Defense industry background.
• Knowledge of EVMS Guidelines (EIA-748 Standard), Integrated Product and Process Development (IPPD), and Integrated Program Management Data Analysis Report (IPMDAR).
• Proficient with the use of Microsoft Project and/or Open Plan or Primavera P6, Milestones Professional and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated experience on programs with responsibility for development and execution of the IMS.

Responsibilities

• Lead the IMS level Program Startup, Reverse Planning / Critical Chain engagements.
• Provide guidance and advice on managing the development and maintenance of complex program schedules including resource loading and Earned Value Management.
• Develop the format, tools and tracking/reporting methods for standardization and enterprise-wide resource management.
• Ensure major projects and program schedules and plans are integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality.
• Track program schedule performance, perform risk analysis, identify and resolve critical path/driving path and network logic conflicts.
• Utilize Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances.
• Create Integrated Master Schedules that include standard phases and gates, contract data requirements, material detail, linkage to a standard work breakdown structure, resource loading, and capability to perform earned value analysis.
• Influence the development and maintenance of Integrated Master Schedules leveraging industry best practices.
• Perform regular analysis of program schedules integrity and performance.
• Identify and recommend insightful mitigation plans to ensure the IMS is used as a predictive model.
• Coach and mentor other planners and develop knowledge and skills within the team.
• Analyze and review subcontractor schedules and integrate subordinate schedules into the project integrated master schedule.
• Perform audits of schedules for performance to plan variance and support corrective action.
