As a Principal Program Manager for YubiKey as a Service, you will play a critical role in shaping the strategic foundation of the YubiPMO. This role combines high autonomy, strategic vision, design collaboration, mentorship, and leadership, and requires comfort with complex problem solving and change management. You will partner with Project Leads and/or Project Managers across programs, and act as a strategic partner to Product and executive leadership, providing insight to guide program and organizational strategy. Your focus will be on tooling and operational enablement, ensuring YubiPMO standards are scalable, repeatable, and impactful.

  • Lead high-impact, cross-functional programs from conception through delivery with a focus on tooling and operational enablement.
  • Partner with Project Leads and/or Project Managers across programs, providing guidance, mentorship, and support for program execution.
  • Shape and influence program management methodology and standards, helping establish YubiPMO as a strategic, high-value function.
  • Partner with Product and executive leadership to provide strategic insights, align programs to company objectives, and inform decision-making.
  • Identify, evaluate, and mitigate program risks; proactively propose solutions to enhance tooling adoption, operational efficiency, and program outcomes.
  • Collaborate across globally distributed teams to drive design alignment, improve processes, and deliver high-quality program outcomes.
  • Lead change management initiatives and solve complex, ambiguous problems with cross-functional impact.
  • 8–12 years’ experience in program or project management.
  • 8+ years’ experience in technology, ideally with SaaS, security, or platform tooling exposure.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage Project Leads and/or Project Managers across multiple programs.
  • Proven track record in strategic program leadership, high autonomy, and mentoring PMs.
  • Strong expertise in tooling implementation, process optimization, or system integrations.
  • Experience working with multiple project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid approaches).
  • Comfortable tackling complex problem solving and leading change management initiatives.
  • Exceptional communication and influence skills, with experience engaging executives and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • PMI certifications (PMP, PgMP) or equivalent preferred.
