About The Position

OCI have an opportunity for a Principal Technical Program Manager who will be responsible for a wide variety of Data Center management tooling to ensure the successful management of OCI Data Centers globally.   • Outstanding organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Experience with technical project management.
  • APEX tool knowledge preferred.
  • Able to operate in fast pace, ambiguous environment.
  • Strong collaborator, working closely with multiple teams and subject matter experts.
  • Confident, takes ownership, willingness to 'do what it takes' to get the job done.
  • Proven experience leading complex negotiations/initiatives to successful completion.
  • Strong analytical, creative thinking, written, and verbal communications skills.
  • Proven ability to apply critical thinking in complex situations.
  • Experienced with Lean Methodologies (Six Sigma for example).
  • Experienced in working in a Scrum/Agile Framework.

Responsibilities

  • Creating executable project plans with clearly defined milestones.
  • Reporting project status and working across multiple cross functional teams.
  • Identifying issues/risks and developing mitigation plans.
  • Creating and improving documentation.
  • Product Ownership of Data Center management tooling and documentation.
  • Ensuring integration and alignment with wider tooling and work-streams.
  • Responsible for Operational Readiness of products and services.
  • Identifying and mitigating risk.
  • Writing and presenting roadmaps, product planning, and release cadence of features.
  • Innovating and implementing strategic improvements to drive down costs and reduce risks/downtime for Data Center Operations.
  • Communicating with senior management to advise, influence and determine strategic business needs.
  • Actively driving customer engagements and identifying new product opportunities.
  • Ownership of all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and reporting on these as well as other key metrics.
