We are looking for you to join our team as a Principal Program Cost Control Analyst - Finance based out of San Diego, CA. This position may be staffed as a hybrid role from the San Diego, CA area. This position offers the 9/80 schedule.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field with 5 years of related experience, - OR - Master’s Degree as described with 3 years of related professional experience.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with SAP (or similar ERP system).
  • The willingness and ability to travel domestically 10% of the time.
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Cognos, Hyperion Planning, HFM, Access databases, and advanced Excel.
  • Ability to interface with multiple disciplines and varying levels of management.
  • Strong understanding of government accounting.
  • Current, active DoD Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Support and lead Cost Control and Financial Planning & Analysis activities within the F35 CNI Operating Unit.
  • Consolidation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and forecasting.
  • Provide guidance on EAC and revenue recognition policies/procedures.
  • Coordination of monthly variance analysis, consolidation and review of annual operating plans.
  • Coordinate monthly unbilled AR reviews.
  • Operating Unit lead for cash and balance sheet activities.
  • Monthly/quarterly forecasting, reporting, and analysis to include Income Statement and Balance Sheet activities.
  • Annual Operating Plan (AOP) preparation and coordination.
  • Reserve tracking and analysis.
  • AR/DSR metrics reporting and analysis.
  • AR billed/unbilled reviews and status.
  • Various month-end entries related to NCR, RWA reclass, forward loss/reserve entries, etc.
  • CQ2 reporting.
  • SOX activities.
  • Support to quarterly EAC reviews/process as well as PPA processing.
  • Other ad hoc duties as assigned.
