About The Position

As a Principal Product Manager, you will lead the strategy and commercialization of a groundbreaking cardiovascular technology platform. Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in product management, portfolio strategy, or new technology marketing, preferably in cardiovascular medical technology.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a related field; MBA or advanced technical degree is a plus.
  • Proven track record of bringing novel technologies to market, including early-stage market development.
  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, linking technical innovation to market opportunities.
  • Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, with experience crafting messaging for technical and executive audiences.
  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional initiatives in a matrixed, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience conducting market analysis, competitive research, and customer engagement to inform portfolio strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine the value proposition and overall portfolio strategy for a novel technology platform.
  • Collaborate with R&D and clinical teams to identify potential applications and align innovation with market needs.
  • Serve as a thought leader and spokesperson for the technology internally and externally.
  • Conduct market research including TAM/SAM/SOM analysis, customer discovery, competitive intelligence, and trend monitoring.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders.
  • Prioritize use cases and investments based on strategic fit, market potential, and technical feasibility.
  • Lead early market engagement to validate new opportunities and assess readiness.
  • Take leadership roles on cross-functional project teams, driving accountability and achieving team goals.
  • Perform financial modeling and forecasting for new product opportunities.
