THE ROLE Join us as a Principal Product Manager and become the strategic driver for the evolution of Pure Storage's market-leading value proposition within hybrid cloud and virtualization technologies. You will own and define the global product strategy for a billion-dollar+ business segment, leading cross-functional teams to deliver innovative data platforms that solve the industry's most complex, evolving business needs. This high-impact role requires an entrepreneurial, battle-tested leader to set the vision, secure commitment from executive leadership, and serve as the foremost external evangelist to ensure market share and business growth.

Requirements

Deep Subject Matter Expertise: Recognized expertise in hybrid infrastructure, virtualization technologies, and/or modern container/Kubernetes ecosystems, with a track record of successfully leveraging this knowledge to define and launch high-impact products.
Strategic Business Acumen: Demonstrated ability to transition from technical expertise to business strategy, including managing P&L health, setting business growth targets, and driving operational excellence for a multi-million/billion dollar product line.
Executive Influence and Communication: Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with a history of successfully influencing executive-level management, major customers, and key internal/external stakeholders regarding matters of critical significance.
Autonomous & Critical Problem-Solving: Proven ability to work independently, exercising wide latitude and independent judgment to develop resolutions to critical business issues and broad design matters.

Responsibilities

Own the Business Health and Growth: Take full P&L accountability for your product portfolio, establishing and driving key business metrics, OKRs, and growth targets in close partnership with BU leadership and Finance.
Define and Execute Global Strategy: Develop a multi-year product and market strategy to build a high-growth business across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud deployments, ensuring technical and business alignment with key ecosystem partners.
Drive Executive-Level Alignment and Vision: Influence and collaborate with the Executive Team to establish the scope and goals for major growth initiatives, providing program leadership and serving as the primary subject matter expert across the company.
Lead Market Intelligence and Evangelism: Conduct in-depth market, competitive, and customer-centric analysis, accurately predicting trends. Serve as the key spokesperson for Pure, delivering compelling business and technical presentations to executive audiences, customers, and partners globally.
Coach and Enable Go-to-Market (GTM) Success: Act as the strategic "quarterback" for GTM execution, partnering with Sales, Marketing, and Field teams to define and drive winning use-case-centric models and ensure high customer adoption and retention.
