Principal Product Manager - Digital Wallet

FiservBerkeley Heights, NJ

About The Position

Fiserv is a global leader in Fintech and payments, connecting financial institutions, corporations, merchants, and consumers. The company is seeking a Principal Product Manager to scale its Digital Wallet platform, focusing on data management and analytics, lifecycle orchestration, and marketing engine/loyalty integration. This role is at the intersection of digital wallets, stored value, payments, and data platforms. The Principal Product Manager will be responsible for securing, governing, and exposing data across the ecosystem for partners, merchants, and internal systems, ensuring the platform is reliable, compliant, and drives adoption, engagement, and incremental value. The role involves close collaboration with engineering, security, platform, loyalty, and go-to-market teams to deliver wallet capabilities that serve as critical infrastructure and a growth enabler.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of product management experience, with ownership of data‑heavy or platform products, within the loyalty, rewards or marketing platform space.
  • Strong experience with APIs, data models, event‑driven systems, and platform integrations.
  • Familiarity with payments, stored value, or digital wallet ecosystems.
  • Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with engineering, security, compliance, and GTM teams.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear product and business outcomes.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with digital wallets, stored value and secure payment platforms.
  • Background in loyalty, rewards, or marketing platforms powered by transaction data.
  • Experience operating in B2B or platform‑at‑scale environments with OEM or network partners.
  • Strong data intuition — comfortable defining schemas, KPIs, and success metrics.
  • Experience supporting pilot programs and merchant rollouts in complex ecosystems.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end‑to‑end data model and lifecycle for OEM wallet experiences, including provisioning, tokenization, balance management, transaction events, and redemption.
  • Define data ownership, governance, and access models across OEMs, merchants, and internal platforms, ensuring security, compliance, and operational clarity.
  • Drive consistency and quality across wallet APIs, event schemas, and downstream data consumers (analytics, reporting, loyalty, marketing).
  • Identify and resolve gaps in data reliability, observability, reconciliation, and operational readiness.
  • Enable wallet data to power personalization, offers, and loyalty use cases, including balance visibility, redemption triggers, and post‑transaction engagement.
  • Define integration patterns between wallet events and loyalty systems (earn, burn, promotions, acquisition).
  • Support merchant use cases where the wallet becomes a growth channel, not just a payment method.
  • Ensure wallet data is leveraged in a privacy‑safe, configurable, and merchant‑friendly way.
  • Translate strategy into clear roadmaps, PRDs, and execution plans across multiple work-streams.
  • Act as a key product partner for OEMs, internal platform teams, and pilot merchants.
  • Balance near‑term delivery with long‑term platform extensibility and ecosystem scale.
  • Use data, merchant feedback, and performance metrics to continuously improve outcomes.

Benefits

  • annual incentive opportunity which may be delivered as a mix of cash bonus and equity awards
