About The Position

Multiple Positions Available: 1. Support the Routing Optimization technology products to better allocate Amazon demand to supply at the right time based on cost, to deliver with speed and drive efficiency. 2. Work alongside Research and Engineering teams to conceptualize, articulate product features, and build cutting edge routing technology solutions that drive cost improvements. 3. End-to-end ownership of requirements gathering, documentation, planning, and implementation of cost-effective solutions for Amazon transportation network. 4. Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally across multiple teams in operations, technology and planning to define strategic roadmaps while keeping the impact of the solution to all stakeholders in mind. 5. Create and implement data driven improvements to Amazon's transportation network that deliver flexible and efficient products for our customers. 6. Design and implement feedback mechanisms to drive performance and cost improvement in processes. 7. Deep dive and do root-cause analysis using data, and create metrics-driven, actionable, and sustainable solutions for the future. 8. Monitor KPI's across nodes and analyze their drivers to determine the level and type of engagement required based on the risk to customer experience and utilization of technology.

Requirements

  • A Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Supply Chain Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field and 3 year(s) of experience in job offered or a related occupation. In the alternative, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Supply Chain Engineering, Business, Finance or related field followed by 5 year(s) of progressively responsible experience in job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to a Master's degree and 3 years of experience.
  • 3 year(s) of experience in program management, product marketing, business development or technology.
  • 3 year(s) of experience in blending product and program management to execute strategic initiatives about process creation, standardization, and improve experience.
  • 3 years of experience in designing transportation solutions
  • 3 years of experience in supply chain management and transportation concepts: forecasting, planning, optimization, logistics, delivery performance, carrier negotiation.
  • 3 year(s) of experience in SQL, Tableau and other statistical software.
  • any amount of experience as a product manager or owner with end to end product delivery; owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition; and making tradeoffs of a product.
