About The Position

The Product Management team at Rubrik drives Rubrik’s vision forward, ensuring we continue to secure the world’s data by delivering on our market-leading platform to address our customers’ most challenging data management & security needs. Our Product Managers are responsible for guiding multidisciplinary teams towards the goal of shipping high-quality products on time. We wear multiple hats throughout the different stages in the product lifecycle and set the vision for our growing family of products. As advocates for both our users and our business, Product Managers balance varied perspectives and empower their teams to do great work. This role requires a visionary leader and "intrapreneur" who can bring to market the next frontier of cloud data protection. You will partner closely with the Business Line Leader for Cloud Data Protection to identify new market pain points, emerging technologies, and untapped personas to ensure Rubrik maintains market leadership in a rapidly evolving landscape. You are a strategist with a "nose for value" who excels at gathering customer insights to define and bringing to life differentiated solutions. While starting as an individual contributor, you will be expected to grow on the PM track, eventually building and leading a high-performing team of Product Managers.

Requirements

  • 5-15 years of recent Product Management experience with a focus on enterprise software.
  • Entrepreneurial Track Record : Demonstrated experience bringing new products to market (0→1)
  • Enterprise Expertise : Proven experience working within enterprise product teams and building deep, technical relationships with Global 2000 customers and sales organizations
  • Strategic Intuition : A proven "nose for value" and the ability to identify signals of market shifts before they become mainstream.
  • Cloud Domain Knowledge : Deep understanding of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their associated services, especially persistent data stores like databases and object stores.
  • Bias for Action : A self-starter who likes to work at a fast pace, get into the details, and drive change within an organization.
  • Collaborative Leadership : A respected partner to sales, engineering, design, and marketing who can drive alignment across competing priorities

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with cloud security is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy & Opportunity Discovery
  • Market Expansion : Evaluate new opportunities for the cloud product line to deliver gross differentiation by identifying new pain points, emerging technologies, and high-growth personas. Move validated concepts from initial concept to business case.
  • Competitive Positioning : Maintain a strong pulse on competitors and competitive positioning to ensure Rubrik remains the market leader.
  • Influence over Roadmap Prioritization: Partner with Cloud Product Managers to assess prioritization of new opportunities vis-a-vis current roadmap; articulate tradeoffs; test, learn, and iterate
  • Cloud Cyber-Recovery: Help drive vision for how Rubrik will deeper our differentiation in clean, fast recovery for Cloud workloads, partner with security PMs
  • Evangelism & Customer Feedback
  • Product Voice : Evangelize the cloud product line internally and externally, serving as a credible voice in roadmap reviews and executive discussions.
  • Feedback Loop : Build strong relationships with customers and sales teams to gather and share deep insights that inform the product direction.
  • Global Partnership : Act as a trusted partner to global stakeholders, navigating distributed execution effectively.
