Reporting to the AVP of Product Design and Innovation for Mass Markets, you will join a team of product designers, UX researchers, and product managers. Our Product and Innovation Design team is delivering innovative and reliable technology solutions to power differentiated, simplified customer experiences. This new discipline and organization report to the CPO, offering a unique opportunity to shape the future of product design. Requirements

  • 10+ years of product design experience.
  • Expert in the product design field with advanced knowledge and experience shaping company and product strategy and objectives.
  • Ability to independently plan, execute, and communicate design activities, milestones, and risks.
  • Experience leading design teams to discover and launch new products at scale.
  • Experience in concept ideation, design strategy, and digital prototyping.
  • Comfortable with graphic design and interactive tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and AI tools.
  • Strong portfolio of product design work and a track record of shaping product strategy and significant business outcomes.
  • Well-versed in user-centered methodologies and design thinking.

Responsibilities

  • Guide your product team to ensure desirability and exceptional product usability and user interaction by designing, prototyping, and iterating on UI/UX.
  • Incorporate customer feedback and collaborate closely with the development team throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Help shape and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and progress from a user experience perspective to executive leadership and peers.
  • Design with a product orientation, incorporating business and engineering concerns into the product's design.
  • Plan and conduct UX research and apply insights to translate those into actionable product insights, recommendations, and designs.
  • Design a holistic product strategy and user experience using storytelling, prototypes, and rapid experimentation.
  • Minimize waste by testing ideas quickly to determine if a solution is worth building.
  • Continuously ship UI/UX designs to engineering for production and maintain involvement throughout the product development lifecycle.
