Requirements

• Master's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 6+ years experience working in product or service design OR Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 8+ years experience working in product or service design OR equivalent experience (e.g., demonstrated experience working in product or service design or using design thinking to solve problems).
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Nice To Haves

• 8+ years experience working in product design with cross-functional teams in an agile development environment
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up-like environment — managing multiple priorities and adapting to change with agility and ownership.
• Experience designing in a 0→1 environment, from exploration to launch.
• Deep appreciation for craft — able to translate vision into thoughtful, well-polished design prototypes.
• Track record of advocating for design thinking, influencing outcomes, and solving ambiguous problems with clarity and creativity.
• Direct experience working with customers or end-users to uncover insights and validate solutions.
• Familiarity with prompting LLMs, working with generative AI, or a strong desire to learn and experiment in this space.
• Exceptional communication and storytelling skills — able to energize teams, articulate rationale, and iterate with openness and feedback.
• Collaborative mindset with a focus on inclusion, shared learning, and helping others grow.
• Experience building or evolving design systems from the ground up.

• Co-create with customers — Engage deeply with customers to uncover their most pressing challenges and design AI-powered solutions that drive measurable business impact.
• Elevate the craft — design visually compelling, modern interfaces that bring consumer-grade quality to enterprise workflows.
• Prototype and move fast — take ideas from whiteboard sketch to functional prototype in days, not week.
• Inspire product direction — influence strategy and vision through bold storytelling, immersive demos, and provocative design explorations.
• Build design systems — evolve shared patterns, frameworks, and visual systems that scale across multiple customers.
