The Procurement Professional role at RTX Corporation involves managing medium to high complexity external procurements to support internal and customer requirements. The successful candidate will focus on procuring non-production goods and services, including architectural, engineering, design, and construction services. This position requires expertise in supplier negotiations, compliance with U.S. Government Acquisition Regulations, and effective supplier management to ensure high service excellence.

  • Supplier negotiations (price, schedules and terms & conditions)
  • Review of SOW's (Statements of Work)
  • Creating PIA/NDA's
  • Obtaining Proposal/Quotation activities
  • Documentation write-up
  • Developing compliance packages
  • Selecting qualified suppliers and performing due diligence
  • Seeking alternate suppliers when applicable
  • Conducting best value, cost and price analysis
  • Post-award management in accordance with company directives and Business Unit work instructions
  • Managing supplier's critical path in support of key program milestones
  • Engaging with Business EXIM, Legal, & Sr. Leaders
  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of minimum experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
  • DoD procurement experience and knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS)
  • Experience with SAP procurement software tools, such as PRISM and APEX
  • Solid supplier negotiation experience (price, schedules and terms & conditions)
  • Coordination with commodity leads/managers and external suppliers to manage requirements
  • Ability to handle multiple decisions based on workload dispersion and customer priorities
  • Working knowledge of Raytheon's various supply chain systems and the SAP PRISM purchasing tool
  • Ability to multi-task and perform in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Strong working knowledge of negotiating terms and conditions
  • Strong leadership skills - influence, presence, ability to interface internally and with suppliers
