Requirements

• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering
• 12-15+ years' experience in Power IC design (Experience can be less for junior level applicants)
• Switching converters design experience including power stage and controller architecture
• Ability to do transistor circuit design in areas such as bandgap, precision voltage and current references, variable gain amplifiers, continuous time filters, PLLs, ADCs, voltage regulators, temperature sensors, I/O blocks, DAC, sense and protection circuits
• Strong knowledge in device physics and deep sub-micron processes
• Proficiency in Cadence design and verification tools
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Strong sense of ownership/accountability; able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Good communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)

Responsibilities

• Design IP blocks and communicate knowledge to the rest of the team
• Supervise top level IC floorplan and layout development
• Conduct IC evaluation including initial bring-up, detailed bench characterization, timely debug and design fix
• Develop test/qualification plans and support to bring the product to mass production.
