Comcast's DevX organization creates an extensible ecosystem of solutions, evolving based on deep partnerships, that empower Comcast's Engineering community to do more of what they love and feel deeply connected to their impactful work. DevX believes we can make developers happier, more focused, and more innovative. We do this by providing tools and automated processes that reduce the impact non-functional requirements have on our developer's lives. As a Principal Product Manager (Level 6) on our DevX Strategy team, you are a senior member of the team, where you are empowered to drive and enable Comcast developers to faster delivery of reliable, performant, and scalable software products. You will be a product strategist for our core engineering platforms. You'll serve as a liaison to our stakeholders and be a key partner to the Comcast development teams. On our teams, everyone has an opportunity to lead; your communication and collaboration skills are just as important—if not more important—than your technical skills.

  • Define the product vision and strategy—setting a long-term action plan for the products based on market research, business goals, and customer feedback.
  • Gather and prioritize requirements: Talk to users, stakeholders, and the market to understand needs, then turn that into clear requirements.
  • Work with cross-functional teams: Coordinate between engineering, architecture, and design to make sure everyone is aligned.
  • Create and manage a product/domain roadmap(s).
  • Make trade-off decisions: Weigh priorities like time, cost, technical complexity, and user needs to decide what gets built and when.
  • Oversee product launches and then collect data and feedback to make ongoing improvements.
  • 8+ years of product management experience in a technical engineering environment.
  • Deep understanding of developer workflows, tools, and challenges.
  • Technical fluency to translate complex requirements into user-friendly solutions.
  • Strong customer-centric mindset with a focus on understanding engineering team needs.
  • Skill in data-driven decision making to inform product roadmaps.
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration with engineering and program management teams.
  • Ability to lead in a fast-changing environment with agility and adaptability.
  • Expertise in strategic roadmap development aligned with business goals.
  • Proficiency in feedback loop management to drive product innovation.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and iterative product development.
  • Familiarity with software development trends and tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree, with 15+ years professional experience.
