About The Position
The Principal Planner performs complex and advanced level professional planning work, coordinates or leads special projects, and provides lead direction and guidance to professional planning staff. This position is responsible for directing, overseeing and assigning work activities, monitoring workflow, and reviewing reports, documents, and recommendations. The Principal Planner may perform any combination of current or strategic duties as assigned, and assignments are completed with considerable independence.
