Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related work experience.
  • 10 years of related HR work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience working with senior executives.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and influence leaders at the executive level.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a large organization (preferably over 10,000 employees).
  • Experience working in a unionized environment.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations, especially California labor laws.
  • Familiarity with HR best practices and industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Align business objectives with employees and management in designated business units.
  • Formulate partnerships across the People function to deliver value-added service to management and employees.
  • Provide advice and counsel to coworkers and leaders in the organizations.
  • Lead People program delivery to specified clients, including Performance Management, Pay Planning, Succession Planning, Employee Relations, Labor Relations, etc.
  • Drive initiatives that enhance business outcomes while creating a joyful coworker experience.
  • Collaborate with leaders to align practices with business goals.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and support meaningful change.
  • Champion coworker well-being and influence talent strategies.
