The GSI Partner Technical Strategist – Fellow will serve as the senior-most technical leader driving solution development, validation, and innovation with Global System Integrators (GSIs) across the Americas. Global System Integrators (GSIs) are large consulting and IT services organizations that specialize in designing, implementing, and managing complex technology solutions for enterprise clients. These firms have extensive experience collaborating with technology vendors like PTC to deliver innovative, AI-driven solutions and digital transformation initiatives across various industries. Unlike traditional partner support roles, this position is focused on driving strategic co‑creation, enabling GSIs to architect differentiated PTC-powered solutions—particularly AI‑driven offerings—and ensuring GSI technical readiness, maturity, and long-term alignment with PTC product and SaaS direction.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of PTC solutions
  • Expertise in AI/ML solution patterns, cloud-native architectures, and enterprise integration models strongly desired.
  • Strong capability to synthesize incomplete information, define architectures, and drive clarity among diverse product and partner stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication skills suited for GSIs, C‑level technical audiences, and senior partner engineering teams.
  • Ability to navigate multiple concurrent solution development engagements with high visibility.
  • 12+ years in partner-facing or customer-facing senior technical roles, including architecture leadership or solution incubation with GSIs.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, AI/ML, or related field.
  • Experience building AI-powered enterprise solutions or platforms strongly preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% within the Americas as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary senior technical authority for GSI partner solution development across the Americas.
  • Define the technical strategy and architectural direction for how GSIs build with PTC technologies—especially AI‑enabled solutions, data architectures, and next‑gen SaaS integrations.
  • Establish centralized, scalable frameworks supporting GSI technical engagement, consistent with the baseline emphasis on repeatable and unified processes.
  • Lead deep technical workshops, co‑development sessions, and solution incubation initiatives with GSI engineering and delivery teams.
  • Guide GSIs in designing and validating solution architectures.
  • Architect, model, and review AI‑driven solution patterns, using PTC’s portfolio and cloud capabilities to enable sophisticated, scalable partner offerings.
  • Ensure partner-built solutions—especially AI and integration-heavy solutions—adhere to PTC architectural standards and SaaS guardrails.
  • Partner closely with Customer Success, Product Management, and R&D to guide GSI development efforts, aligning with the original expectations for internal coordination.
  • Translate complex product and AI capability updates into actionable guidance for GSI architects and delivery leads.
  • Evaluate GSI maturity levels, including AI readiness, technical depth, and long‑term build capability.
  • Provide executive-level reporting on GSI technical investment impact, solution maturity, and partner readiness.
  • Identify opportunities for standardization and reuse of AI patterns, architectures, and accelerators across the GSI ecosystem.
  • Serve as a PTC technical thought leader to senior GSI technical stakeholders, driving ecosystem adoption of new product capabilities and AI innovations.
  • Represent PTC in strategic conversations with GSI leadership, including CTO, VP Engineering, or Practice Leads.
