The Principal OT Security Architect is a critical role within Haleon's Digital and Tech Information Security organization, specifically supporting our Operational Technology (OT) Manufacturing sites. This position is essential for maintaining the highest levels of service availability and ensuring that our network security measures are ahead of business demands. The role emphasizes the importance of standardization through automation, which is vital for the efficiency and security of our manufacturing operations. The Principal OT Security Architect will be responsible for assessing, improving, and maintaining the cybersecurity posture of the global manufacturing OT environment, which includes Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and Factory Automation systems. This role will also involve developing new processes and procedures, as well as guidelines for the business to follow, ensuring compliance with security standards and regulations. In this position, the Principal OT Security Architect will lead all architectural activities within the technology domain, defining standards and direction for architecture in the specific business or technical domain. The role requires the creation of architecture patterns that suggest optimal utilization of technical platforms to support holistic solution architecture design. Additionally, the architect will define, build, and evolve the Architecture Governance Framework, which includes architecture methods, practices, and standards for IT, IoT, and OT. The Principal OT Security Architect will also be responsible for defining, designing, applying, and supporting security controls for OT systems across our sites. This includes leading a team of domain specialists and analyzing, designing, and developing roadmaps and implementation plans based on current and future state assessments. The role involves developing and implementing measures, tools, and technologies to monitor compliance with company security policies, laws, and regulations. Furthermore, the architect will lead research and analysis of new security trends related to OT security networks, manage relationships with engineering teams, and collaborate across the organization to maintain high network security levels. The position also requires the exploration of raw network traffic and performing in-depth data analysis using various tools, as well as creating data queries and relevant dashboards for key stakeholders.
