The Principal OT Security Architect is a pivotal role within the Digital and Tech Information Security organization at Haleon, specifically focused on supporting our Operational Technology (OT) Manufacturing sites. This position is essential for maintaining the highest levels of service availability and ensuring that our network security measures are ahead of business demands. The role emphasizes the importance of standardization through automation, which is critical in today's fast-paced technological landscape. The Principal OT Security Architect will be responsible for assessing, improving, and maintaining the cybersecurity posture of our global manufacturing OT environment, which includes Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and Factory Automation systems. This role will also involve developing new processes and procedures, as well as guidelines for the business to follow, ensuring that security measures are not only effective but also practical and aligned with operational needs. In this capacity, the Principal OT Security Architect will lead all architectural activities within the technology domain, defining standards and direction for architecture in specific business or technical areas. This includes creating architecture patterns that optimize the use of technical platforms and developing a robust Architecture Governance Framework that encompasses IT, IoT, and OT. The architect will also be responsible for defining, designing, and applying security controls to OT systems, leading a team of domain specialists to ensure that architectural security standards are met. The role requires a deep understanding of current and emerging security trends, as well as the ability to analyze and develop roadmaps for future security enhancements. The Principal OT Security Architect will collaborate closely with engineering teams and other stakeholders to maintain high network security levels. This includes performing in-depth data analysis, creating data queries, and developing dashboards and reports for key stakeholders. The architect will also be involved in the initiation and prioritization of research and development work based on customer needs, ensuring that operational excellence is optimized and best practices for security are adhered to. As a thought leader in the organization, the Principal OT Security Architect will help maximize the value of Information Security and IT, defining and monitoring metrics to assess the overall maturity of cybersecurity investments. This role is not only about maintaining security but also about fostering a culture of security awareness and continuous improvement within the organization.
