Additional responsibilities may be allocated as part of the job duties. Individuals having experience with NERC CIP are desirable. The Principal Specialist role enhances candidates expertise of Industrial Control System (ICS) Cyber Security and NERC Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) practices in power generation facilities and control center operational environments. Candidates can expect to serve in a hybrid role which includes implementation and project management of OT networks, oversight of NERC CIP process management as it relates to OT projects, hands-on cyber security implementation and troubleshooting of OT networks, and participation in organizational projects, as necessary. Team members in this role will:• Work in conjunction with subject matter experts and learn how ICS security is designed, configured, and maintained in an operational technology (OT) environment.• Develop a technical understanding of ICS network infrastructure, security appliances, and security control configurations.• Manage integration of one or more NERC CIP standard into OT network projects• Support the execution of operational tasking specific to network and system administration, security patch management, AV, SIEM Log Monitoring, Backup & Recovery, and Incident Response.
