Requirements

A minimum earned Master's Degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field
Valid South Carolina elementary or secondary principal's certificate
Three to five years of teaching and administrative/supervisory experience

Creates and sustains a vision aligned to the Greenville County Schools Strategic Education Plan. (PS 1)
Develops, implements and monitors the school improvement plan to improve student learning in all areas. (PS 1)

Recruits, monitors, supports, evaluates, retains, and ensures high quality performance of teachers and staff who implement the vision and mission of the school and district. (PS 3)

Serves as the administrative head of the school and, as such, has responsibility for coordination of the total resources of the school and the general supervision of all school activities, safety, and welfare. (PS 3)
