Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Systems) or equivalent.
  • Experience: Typically 10–12+ years in NPI, manufacturing, or system engineering, with experience in technical leadership roles.
  • Domain Knowledge: Expertise in specialized fields like electronics, medical devices, or automation.
  • Tools: Proficiency with CAD software, PLM systems, data analysis tools (Minitab, MATLAB), and modeling.
  • Leadership: Strong ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority and manage, mentor, or lead teams.
  • Willingness to travel within US and International 10-15% of the time

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of SAP a plus

Responsibilities

  • Process Development & Validation : Design, implement, and validate manufacturing processes and equipment (IQ/OQ/PQ) for new products.
  • Design for Manufacturability (DFM): Collaborate with R&D to influence design, ensuring product requirements are compatible with manufacturing capabilities.
  • System Integration: Oversee the integration of components (mechanical, electrical, or software) into functional systems.
  • Technical Leadership: Serve as the technical expert for NPI projects, providing guidance, mentoring junior engineers, and leading root cause analysis for production issues.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Create and review manufacturing instructions, Bills of Materials (BOM), and engineering changes (ECN) to comply with regulatory standards.
  • Supplier & Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with Quality, Regulatory, and external vendors to meet production goals.
