Requirements

  • Experience providing technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments; and establishing goals and plans that meet project objectives; with domain and expert technical knowledge.
  • Experience in interfacing with senior management and negotiating with clients on requirements and deliverables.
  • Experience with AWS Cloud technologies, scripting skills with shell, python, PERL and the like, supporting Windows and Unix environments, as well as proven experience installing and maintaining security patches on servers, ITIL, and in-depth knowledge of Cisco Enterprise environments.
  • Expert experience with IP, Routing and Connection services as well as working on ITIL and SAFe Agile Frameworks.
  • Ability to analyze available hardware and software from external vendors and make recommendations for purchase and installation, along with documented experience creating maintaining and implementing detailed documentation for standard systems operating procedures.
  • Candidate must have a Bachelor's with 12 or more years of prior relevant experience or a Masters with 10 or more years of prior relevant experience.
  • Must have active and current TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience developing DevOps infrastructure using GitHub, Jenkins, Ansible and related tools.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for architecture, design, installation, configuration, administration, support, and maintenance of networks, including associated hardware and cloud resources.
  • Update to new technologies, tuning performance, and prioritizing the implementation of critical system patches.
  • Performs risk assessment, risk mitigation analysis, vendor trade studies, and appropriate documentation to ensure network services are available according to established Service Level Agreements (SLA).
  • Ensures continuity of operations including disaster recovery.
  • Monitors operations and collects and evaluates metrics to manage network services and for inclusion into project KPIs and Service Level Agreements (SLA).
