About The Position

The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is looking for a Principal Network Engineer - Cyberspace Network Operations (CNO) to provide research support administration services for our government customer in Ft. Belvoir, VA.

Requirements

• Must have a Bachelor's degree.
• Master's degree preferred.
• High level of creativity and complexity to research and recommend solutions.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen (Born or Naturalized).
• Must have Active TS/SCI Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provides subject matter expertise in Information Technologies.
• As a SETA, the candidate will need to look at efforts objectively and provide independent assessments and recommendations.
• Provides IT expertise and represents customer/user needs during the development of architecture data, reference models, and architectural alternatives and products.
• Provides support in the translation of mission requirements into IT service needs and requirements, designs, and orders.
• Assemble acquisition documents for purchase request packages.
• Proactively evaluates new services and technologies and makes mission-focused impact and gap assessments.
• Planning and coordinating an organization's Infrastructure strategic and long-range goals, management concepts, and business practices.
• Assist with coordination, analysis, and execution of technical strategies to address changing DoD IT policies, reforms, and optimization efforts that could impact mission support.
