About The Position

The Principal Network Architect will design and implement network and security infrastructure. In this role, you will configure, deploy, and maintain network security equipment. To ensure compliance with information security standards, the position will require working knowledge of supporting/related technologies, industry standards and best practices. The role requires strict adherence to Wintrust's Network standards, policies, processes and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 7-10 years of experience.
• Experience supporting Cisco ACI, SD-WAN, Cisco DNA Center, and Cisco ISE/NAC required.
• Demonstrated extensive route/switch experience.
• Strong change management, communication, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze network requirements and implement routing or architecture changes.
• Utilize industry best practices for security, disaster recovery, business continuity, change control, and design, configure, manage and troubleshoot a variety of networking technologies.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in coordinating and troubleshooting with customers, other infrastructure support activities and business units while being the SME for three or more Wintrust network technologies.
• Develop network documentation of security infrastructure and review network documentation and standards for accuracy.
• Review planned major system upgrades, and any new corporate technologies.
• Mature Wintrust Network policies, standards and processes, and supporting technologies.
• Participate in all Architecture reviews for new or changes to network technologies in-house and 3rd party.
