About The Position

Palo Alto Networks is scaling its world-class strategy organization and looking for its next Strategy leader in the area of Network security. The Palo Alto Networks Strategy function is a focused team that works on our most mission-critical business challenges to drive and support our industry-leading growth. As a Principal, NetSec Strategy your efforts will directly impact the overall strategy and success of a world-leading cybersecurity business. You will collaborate on complex business and technology problems that are top-of-mind for our executives. You possess a unique blend of business insight, business strategy experience, big-picture thinking, influencing skills and ability to collaborate with a large number of constituents within Palo Alto Networks.

Requirements

  • Required direct experience in top-tier consulting at the Principal / Associate Partner level (McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Deloitte, etc.), private equity or top-tier tech strategy or bizops functions (Google, Meta, Amazon, etc.).
  • MBA graduate from a top-tier B-school or similar academic credentials or direct promote in Consulting.
  • Strong business skills and GTM knowledge with a deep understanding of enterprise tech business models and GTM strategies.
  • A track record of developing and executing integrated GTM strategies to deliver excellent results.
  • Leadership ability with experience leading multiple strategy teams and efforts simultaneously.
  • Executive presence and ability to engage with senior leadership in a constructive and collaborative manner.
  • Willingness to support outcome realization beyond just paper strategy.
  • Self-starter who wants to own and deliver the outcome.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with our Business and GTM leaders to develop and architect our cohesive GTM strategy and ongoing transformation.
  • Proactively identify, prioritize and scope GTM initiatives across direct sales, ecosystems/RTMs & shared services.
  • Combine core strategy toolkit with business judgment to lead and deliver major GTM initiatives.
  • Act as an advisor and sounding board for senior GTM leaders on GTM acceleration efforts and strategic decisions.
  • Work cross-functionally with other strategy teams, business operations, finance, IT, and other groups to operationalize efforts.
  • Drive change across the organization and wear multiple hats to achieve outcomes.
  • Be a Player-Coach that raises everyone’s capabilities around you.
