PSEG is seeking a System/Commissioning Engineer to provide technical support in the Engineering Services department for the Salem Power Uprate Project. The successful candidate will be responsible for sponsoring and implementing power uprate modifications for Salem Units 1 and 2. This role involves assessing the required scope of work, exploring various alternative solutions for modifications, and ensuring adequate systems integration while fulfilling the role of plant systems subject matter expert. The engineer will also support changes to the Preventive Maintenance and Surveillance Program, identify critical spare parts, and prepare for factory and plant startup testing. Additionally, the engineer will interface with the Project Manager to ensure that engineering deliverables meet overall project goals and provide field support during modification walkdowns, installation, testing, and as-built verification. Compliance with regulatory requirements and performing other assigned duties as determined by the Engineering Manager are also key responsibilities.
