About This Role The primary responsibility of the position is the engineering development of commercial water chilling systems. The role includes leading the integration of mechanical system designs into chiller and split system new product development programs. In this capacity, the principal engineer will be responsible for leading a team to develop solutions that best meet the local/global market needs by integrating multiple technologies in the product. To do this, the principal engineer must have an expert understanding of the thermodynamics of the chiller system, chiller modeling, tube in shell heat transfer, pressure vessel design, refrigerant system performance analysis and compression application. The principal engineer will also be responsible for the mentoring of other early career engineering personnel.
