At Raytheon, the foundation of everything we do is rooted in our values and a higher calling – to help our nation and allies defend freedoms and deter aggression. We bring the strength of more than 100 years of experience and renowned engineering expertise to meet the needs of today’s mission and stay ahead of tomorrow’s threat. Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world. The Raytheon Hardware Engineering Organization leads the mechanical, electrical and test hardware design, development and production of radar, sonar, missile, and combat system equipment. The Mechanical team uses state-of-the-art tools, processes, technology, and Raytheon’s CORE principles. Mechanical capabilities encompass a broad range of technical disciplines which include engineering, manufacturing, technical services, materials, processes, analysis, test, and documentation. The Radar Mechanical Design Department leads mechanical design, development, and integration of some of the most innovative land-based and shipboard radars in the world. This includes phased array radar systems, electronic modules, pedestals, and power and cooling systems. The department comprises individuals with technical expertise and experience in hardware design, integration, and production support. We have an opportunity for an experienced Principal Mechanical CADD Engineer to support our radar development programs. You will conceptualize, design, integrate, and document mechanical-focused hardware using computer-aided design, mechanical analyses, and consistent coordination and communication across teams to ensure successful hardware performance.
